This policy explains how Traceway™ uses cookies and similar technologies on traceway.com — the categories we use, the actual cookies we set, how long they last, and how your choices differ by region. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1 · What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way. We use them to run traceway.com, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

2 · The categories we use

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always on; no consent needed.
• Analytics / performance — help us understand traffic and improve the site (provided by HubSpot).
• Functional — remember preferences to improve your experience.
• Advertising / targeting — none in use today; listed so this category is governed if we add it later.

Ask Trace, our AI assistant, uses your browser's local storage — not tracking cookies — to remember the name and email you enter and your conversation, so they aren't re-requested as you move between pages. This is functional storage held in your own browser; you can clear it anytime by starting a new conversation or clearing your browser's site data for traceway.com. 4 · Your choices — and how they differ by region

How we ask for consent depends on where you are, so we capture only what's lawful in your location:

• Opt-in first (no analytics until you accept): EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, and Quebec (Canada). You'll see equally weighted Accept and Reject options and can set each category.
• On by default, with an easy opt-out (clear notice; you can switch analytics off): the United States and the rest of Canada. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically, and US visitors can use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control.
• Anywhere we can't determine your location: we default to opt-in.

You can change your choice anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.

5 · Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. Most browsers explain this under their "Privacy" or "Cookies" settings.
