How we think about decisions.

We’re publishing as we build. Below: what’s coming, where we stand on security, and the questions we hear most.

Library

Want these as we publish them? Join the waitlist. We send the occasional thoughtful note, not a drip sequence.

Security & trust

Where we stand today.

Traceway is in private development. Full security and compliance commitments will be published before general availability. Need detail now for a review? Request it during a demo conversation.

Audit-grade trail

Tamper-evident, time-stamped decision records designed to hold up under internal audit.

SOC 2

SOC 2 Type II is in flight ahead of general availability.

ISO 27001

Committed as part of our compliance roadmap.

Data residency

Regional residency options are part of the enterprise plan at launch.

● Already running

Nearly all of it is built.

Not a prototype and not a roadmap. What is left is infrastructure, connectors and the bug-bashing that comes before a first customer.

Below is a sample of 16 things that already work, not the inventory.

Nobody can edit history. Including us.
the record can only be added to. Changing an entry or removing one is not a feature we withheld; it is not possible
You can prove it was never altered
each entry is sealed to the one before it, so anything removed or edited afterwards shows up
Admin activity is on the record too
who was invited, whose role changed, who connected what. Kept the same way the decisions are
Every decision is told whether it still fits
whether it advances the strategy, has drifted from it, sits under nothing, or conflicts with a principle you set. Worked out fresh every time you look
Find the decision behind a commitment without leaving what you are doing
type a word from it and the record opens over the page you are on. Nothing you had open is lost
One set of permissions, everywhere
search, reports and the assistant all check the same thing. Nothing is hidden on one screen and visible on another
Nobody can quietly raise a decision above their level
the attempt is refused and sent for sign-off instead: it does not quietly go through
What the assistant shows you is what you are allowed to see
a record you are not cleared for is withheld, and you are told how many were, rather than quietly getting less
One customer’s data cannot be read by another
each workspace is walled off at the deepest level, not by a filter the software has to remember to apply
Your IT team sets people up the way it already does
we speak SCIM, the standard your identity system already uses, so joiners, movers and leavers flow through on their own
Someone who leaves loses access; someone who returns gets it back
both paths are tested, not assumed
An approval always says why
an approval submitted with no reason written is refused. Not discouraged, not flagged. Refused
What is actually waiting on you is already on your screen
approvals, reviews and work that has stalled. Gathered in one place, most urgent first
See who has quietly become the bottleneck
one screen ranks people by how many live decisions are waiting on them, and flags anyone carrying too many
The AI drafts. A person decides.
nothing the AI produces becomes a record until a person has read it and saved it
It plugs into the tracker your teams already use
Jira: sign in, pick your projects, and keep the work in step with the decision behind it
Where Traceway fits

Built for the decision itself, not the doc, the ticket, or the audit after.

Docs & wikis (Notion, Confluence)Unstructured pages
Work trackers (Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, GitHub Issues)Tasks, not decisions
Frameworks (DACI, RACI, RAPID)A method, not a product
GRC platforms (Archer, OneTrust)Compliance-first, post-hoc
TracewayPurpose-built decision record + chain

Common questions
What is Traceway?

A system of record for organizational decisions and the strategy they deliver. An AI agent captures decisions from your conversations, governs them with the framework you use, and connects them from the board mandate above to the work that delivers them below.

How is it different from the tools we already use?

Docs, wikis, and tickets are general-purpose stores. Traceway is purpose-built for the decision itself: structured roles, an audit trail, framework-aware governance, and a chain to the strategy and work either side of it.

Do we need both products?

Start with Decision Intelligence. It’s the foundation. Strategy Alignment builds on it: it connects your goals to the decisions and work that deliver them, which only works once decisions are flowing.

When will it launch?

Launching Q4 2026. We’re in private development. Waitlist members get the first demos; a small design-partner cohort joins at launch.

How do you handle our data?

Specific security and compliance commitments will be published before general availability. Request our current posture during a demo conversation.
